Patrick, DP World & Hutchison Operations Disrupted at Port Botany due to Bushfires Smoke - Update

Following are announcements from the 3 stevedores concerning their suspended or disrupted operations at Port Botany due to severe bushfire smoke conditions.  

 

Patrick Terminals - Operations Update

10th December 2019           

Good Afternoon,

Please be advised that vessel operations at the Sydney Autostrad Terminal have been impacted by smoke from the bushfires during Tuesday 10/12 dayshift shift.

Vessel operations have been disrupted.

The R&D operations have been impacted but are still operational. Sydney Autostrad Terminal will keep updating the industry through 1-Stop notifications.

NOCC will work with impacted customers towards best possible recovery plan.

Sydney terminal operations interrupted by poor weather

As you are aware, Sydney is suffering from severe smoke haze. Due to these adverse weather conditions, operations at DP World's Port Botany terminal have been interrupted from 12.30 pm Tuesday 10 December until further notice.

Operations will resume at the earliest convenience.

OPERATIONS HAVE CEASED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Carriers,

Please be advised all operations have currently ceased as a result of heavy smoke & poor air quality. This will be lodged as an unforseen event.

All trucks currently in the terminal will be non-serviced and 1300, 1400, 1500hr , 1600,1700 slots will be cancelled.

We will provide a further update at 1600hrs.

Storage will be amended
