Special Announcement: USA Air Cargo Security Regulations and Screening Technology – AFIF/OTS/Smiths Detection Information Sessions
AFIF’s recent Off-Airport Aircargo Security Survey indicated most respondents are yet to decide whether to continue as a RACA and implement EACE Screening Equipment or become an AACA, from 1 November.
For those considering the implementation and use of screening technologies in their business, AFIF has organised a leading global screening technology provider to deliver industry presentations on the available screening technologies suitable for the screening of air cargo.
The presentation will include an overview and information on X-Ray Inspection Systems, Electronic Metal Detection Systems and Explosive Trace Detection Systems. It will also cover off which of these technology types may be more suitable for different applications and commodities, lead time information, purchase arrangements and finance structures.
The presentation will also be accompanied by a presentation and information update by the Office of Transport Security on the Enhanced Air Cargo Examination program.
There will be opportunities for questions and answers during and post both presentation.
