Update to Notice to Industry 95/2011

What's the issue?

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is continuing negotiations with the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) and staff on a new Enterprise Agreement for the next three years.

The CPSU has advised the Department that a ban of selected work practices will take place from Friday 9 September to Friday 16 September 2011 inclusive.

The department is aware of the impacts industrial action may have on our service delivery but it is expected that operations will continue during periods of industrial action.

We are continuing negotiations with the CPSU in the hope that an agreement can be successfully concluded and further industrial action can be avoided.
