LUFTHANSA CLOSES OPERATIONS IN AUSTRALIA
AND NEW ZEALAND

As you are probably aware Lufthansa have made a decision to cease operating to Australia and New Zealand, which became effective as of March 26th this year.

Lufthansa had operated for over 25 years in Australia and we understand it has been a very difficult decisions for them to cease their operations to this part of the world, at least for the time being. As a direct result Mr. Peter Avery has also left the organisation. Before doing so,Lufthansa had organised farewells for Peter in both Melbourne and Sydney to which industry colleagues and long time friends were invited to celebrate a great career with the German carrier.
