Friday, August 5, 2005 US Govt Enforcement Update - Dear {Firstname}, Please refer to the attached Notice from the US Customs & Border Protection Agency (CBP) detailing stringent compliance requirements, effective Sept 16th, regarding wood packing materials (WPM). From this date US -CBP will reject and require re-export of the total consignment if goods are packed using non-compliant wood packing or dunnage.
