Qantas Id Requirements

Dear {Firstname},

1.  Further to Qantas Notice regarding new ID requirements for collection of Import Cargo (Notice posted to AFIF Website earlier  today ...click here to view), we have held discussions with Qantas and clarified the position as follows:
  • You will only need to provide a blanket authorisation once for each regular transport co / operator you may use, which Qantas will hold on file.  
  • Where an authority is given to another person to collect cargo outside of the usual company for whom a blanket authorisation is held, then that person's driver's Licence will be photocopied.
