CMR Imports Go Live Date

Customs has a legislative requirement to have the Imports module of the ICS go live by 20 July this year. Following ‘go live’ there will be a transitional period of up to 40 days. As with the exports release, Customs is working with us to ensure that the decision to go live is taken only after we as a software development group ensure the system is robust, reliable and efficient. edi's CMR upgrade strategy is as follows:

Deliverance Sites CMR Upgrade Strategy
Any customer using Sea Cargo Depot, Sea Cargo HVSO, Duty Drawbacks, Bond Store, Air Cargo Automation Depot or Air Cargo Automation CTO will need to migrate to ediEnterprise prior to the CMR Cutover. Your Account Manager will be in contact shortly to discuss the steps required to migrate.

Any customer using EDIFICE or Sea Cargo Automation Forwarder and not using Sea Cargo Depot, Sea Cargo HVSO, Drawbacks, Bond Store, Air Cargo Automation Depot or Air Cargo Automation CTO will receive an upgrade to Deliverance. Migration to ediEnterprise before the CMR cutover is optional.

ediEnterprise Sites CMR Upgrade Strategy
Any customer using ediEnterprise Import Declaration messaging modules such as Sea Cargo Automation Forwarder, Sea Cargo Depot, Sea Cargo HVSO, Duty Drawbacks, Bond Store, Air Cargo Automation, Air Cargo Automation CTO or EDIFICE will receive an ediEnterprise upgrade for their licensed modules prior to the CMR cutover. We will have more information regarding the actual changes and ediEnterprise CMR upgrade training sessions in a few months.

We encourage customers that must migrate from Deliverance to ediEnterprise in Australia to book into the Classroom Training mentioned above. Please discuss your requirements with your local Account Manager.

They will not be able to sent the PRA if they haven’t entered the Packing Group data. These changes are in version 1956 and 7388.
