Cargo Insurance Solution for AFIF Members to comply with
Financial Services Reform Act

Dear members,

Further to the various information AFIF has been disseminating regarding the effect of reforms to the Financial Services Act (FSA), we have received an offer to provide members with a simple legal solution allowing you to continue to arrange insurance policies for your customers in line with the new laws (due to take effect from the 11th March 2004), whilst still collecting commissions.

MLH Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd is an Australian company that holds two Financial Services Licenses (Nbrs: 230163 and 230673), one of which is allocated for the licensing of insurance intermediary suppliers which would include the services provided by AFIF members. MLH specialises in providing tailored niche solutions to large Australian corporations and associations such as AFIF.  MLH has invested much time and money with their lawyers to ensure their solution is legally compliant under these new laws.

We  urge you to take a look at the attached offer and following careful reading please indicate your response asap  which will be required to ascertain interest levels before AFIF & MLH can procede.
