AFIF CHARITY GOLF DAY SYDNEY FEBRUARY 8th

Dear All,

The response to this industry golf day in aid of the UNHCR Charity Appeal has been nothing short of fantastic ! At the time of writing we now have a full complement of 36 teams of 4 players committed to start the event.

Note: Those organisations who have given their commitment to submit a team and have not yet done so, could you please complete your names and handicaps and return the forms.

In addition, the generosity of our industry has once again been demonstrated in terms of sponsorship. We currently have over $10,000.00 pledged plus several items for the charity auction, including international airline tickets and a wallaby jumper signed by David Campese.

For those attending the event, you will receive more information regarding order of the day and "the rules" and we look forward to hosting a great event on February 8th at Kogarah Golf Club, Sydney.

We are also delighted to announce that Tim Fischer, the former deputy Prime Minister and patron of UNHCR will start the proceedings and Ian Chappel the former Australian cricket captain and channel 9 commentator will be there to assist with the prize giving and the charity auction (provided that Australia do not need to play a third one day final - come on Aussie !)

UNHCR have already advised that as our net contribution should now exceed $30,000.00, this will already make it the largest of all corporate contributions for their appeal during this crisis. You should all be congratulated for your generosity and big heartedness !!
