1. Keep your costs under control – become FWB Compliant!
Most forwarders have actively embraced electronic data submission for master AWB data via the FWB message. At Ezycargo, we work closely with forwarders and their software providers to ensure FWB data is automatically transmitted to the appropriate CTO when the AWB is printed. For forwarders, this is by far the most efficient way to submit your FWB data. However, it is important to ensure you review any rejection messages you may receive back regarding your data.
These messages, called FNA’s, are important because they can indicate that your data may not have been delivered to the CTO, which could result in additional CTO fees being applied when you lodge your cargo. In addition to Host-to-Host FWB solutions, at Ezycargo we also provide a convenient web based FWB submission facility, allowing your data to be transmitted to multiple CTO’s.

2. Are you exporting to the USA?
A reminder that airlines flying to the USA now require forwarders to provide electronic House AWB data via the FHL message. At Ezycargo, we are working closely with system providers to the forwarding industry to ensure their forwarders can comply with these requirements. We also provide data capture facilities on www.ezycargo.com.au which can be used ensure FHL data is transmitted to the many airlines connected to Ezycargo.

3. Ezycargo road-shows and site visits ….
At Ezycargo, we’ve been extra busy lately conducting further road-shows and site visits to inform the industry on all things electronic!! During February, we conducted briefing sessions in the PER and BNE markets, as well as spending time with airlines and forwarders in these cities implementing their eBooking programs.
Forwarders and airlines in PER and BNE have been quick to embrace eBookings, and we’re looking forward to working closely with these markets into the future.

4. Ezycargo’s new Allotment Booking application…
We have recently launched a new Allotment Booking application, called My Allotments. This feature makes it ezy to make your allotment bookings, across multiple carriers that may allot you permanent capacity on a month-to-month basis. Over coming months, we’ll be further promoting this service to all Ezycargo customers, so keep an eye out for it! |
