WORKSHOP on NEW DRIVER FATIGUE REGULATIONS

The NSW Long Distance Driver Fatigue Regulations came into force on the 1st March. They present unique challenges to other driver fatigue laws in force in Australia.

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA), in conjunction with National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA), WorkCover NSW and the NSW Road Transport Association (NSW RTA), has organised a half day workshop for operators and those affected by these regulations.

The workshop will feature a direct Q&A session with Peter Robinson from WorkCover NSW and also Lyle White from NSW RTA.

It will be held at the new National ITS Centre (ITS Australia), 3 Rocklea Drive, Port Melbourne from 10am on Monday 3rd April.

Click here to see the Registration / Payment Form.

Lunch will be provided and the NSW RTA is selling a "solutions" kit for $99, and also spending an hour after lunch going over its use for those who want to purchase the kit.

To register, simply print the second page and fax back to the VTA. Details are on the form.

Based on other workshops run in NSW & in QLD with direct participation from WorkCover NSW, this event should be an excellent backgrounding and way forward to ensure compliance.

**IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FREIGHT MOVEMENTS IN NSW, DON'T MISS THIS ONCE-ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND A COMPREHENSIVE BRIEFING ON THE NEW NSW DRIVER FATIGUE LAWS!!**
