I am writing to you personally to seek your assistance in voting on a rule change at the Annual General Meeting of Tradegate, to be held on the 25th of November.
As a subscriber to Tradegate, your company will by now have received a letter from the Chairman of Tradegate setting out the reasons for the proposal to change Rule 1.25 of their constitution. In its present form this rule is making it almost impossible for the board of Tradegate to introduce changes which will be necessary to provide a sound basis for the future of the organisation. The Tradegate directors are unanimous in wanting to make this simple change to the company's constitution to enable the company to continue to serve our industry in the future.
Both AFIF and the CBFCA are 100% in favour of the resolution and firmly believe that the members of both organisations will benefit from a positive vote.
To make the change, it is necessary to obtain 75% voting support for the resolution , that means 400 votes in favour. Every single vote is essential and yours will be a positive contribution to the process.
Your company's representative may vote in person at the AGM, or you may vote by proxy. If you have not received the proxy form, please click here to download it directly from the Tradegate website: http://www.tradegate.org.au/2003-Proxy-form.docand then send to Tradegate either by mail, or fax to 02 92833900.
If you need clarification or have any questions, please don't hesitate to call Brian Lovell (02 93143055), or Peter Mc Namara (02 93175577), or Brian Farquhar at Tradegate (02 92831144).
Thanks for taking the time to vote - it is vital for the future of Tradegateand their contribution to positive development for the industry.
