  1. What is Ezycargo ?

In case you’re not already aware of what we do at Ezycargo, we are an air cargo industry eBusiness system which has been developed to facilitate more efficient ways for the air cargo industry to communicate electronically.

Linked to multiple carriers, GHA’s and forwarders, our services include eBookings (allotment and free-sale), real-time schedules, advanced shipment tracking, together with master (MAWB) & house (HAWB) data reporting.

The airlines currently participating in Ezycargo for eBookings are:

     *  Cathay Pacific
     *  Japan Airlines
     *  Malaysia Airlines
     *
 Qantas Freight
     *  Singapore Airlines

In addition to eBookings, Ezycargo also provides a variety of other functions to improve efficiency in our industry, such as:

  • Host-to-Host connections – this enables your host system that generates your AWB’s to communicate directly with multiple airlines and GHA’s, via a single user interface. This allows the transmission of AWB data (master and house), for handling agent and airline purposes.
  • Real-time schedules – direct links to airline cargo systems for up-to-the second fight schedule information
  • Track and trace, over multiple carriers from the one site
  • On-Line FWB (Master AWB Data) & FHL (House AWB) data capture facilities, for transfer to airlines and GHA’s

If you would like further information, please visit www.ezycargo.com.au, or email us at info@ezycargo.com.au.

  2. Are you compliant for US Customs HAWB reporting ?

Airlines flying to the USA now require forwarders to provide electronic House AWB data via the FHL message, as well as Master AWB data via the FWB message prior to lodgement of consolidated cargo destined to the USA. With the final phase of the new US Customs reporting program going live on 13 December 2004 for West Coast USA, now is the time to ensure you are able to provide the required data to help avoid financial penalties for non compliance, which have now been announced by a number of airlines.

At Ezycargo, we are working closely with system providers to the forwarding industry to ensure their forwarders can comply with the requirements. We also provide data capture facilities on www.ezycargo.com.au which can be used ensure FHL data is transmitted to airlines.

If you would like any further information on Ezycargo solutions for FHL messaging, please contact us at info@ezycargo.com.au

  3. Are your FWB’s being sent correctly for all your exports ?

As CTO’s in Australia rely on the receipt of your FWB message to pre-report to customs for a load status, it’s very important that you always send FWB’s and ensure that the FWB always correctly contains your CAN or exemption code. The code must be placed in the “Accounting Information” of your AWB, which will then place the data in the correct field on your FWB.

Please contact your software provider if you require any further information, or contact us at Ezycargo, at info@ezycargo.com.au

By always ensuring your FWB’s and sent and correct, you will help to reduce waiting times at export.

  4. eBookings have come to Adelaide, Brisbane & Perth !

Following the successful growth of eBookings via Ezycargo in Melbourne and Sydney, forwarders and airlines in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth can now also benefit from moving to eBookings. By sending your cargo bookings electronically to the airlines, you can enjoy the following benefits:

  • Reduced phone calls and waiting on hold
  • 24 x 7 access – all you need is the internet
  • Instant confirmation of your booking (within airline limits)
  • A comprehensive booking log where you can view the current status or history all your bookings – across multiple carriers, in one place at one time
  • A variety of booking options

    o Spreadsheet Bookings
    o Allotment and free-sale Bookings
  • Bookings can be amended on-line, with instant advice to the airline
