Air Cargo Congestion - Sydney and Melbourne

Dear {Firstname},

The Qantas Cargo Terminal at Sydney has once again reached capacity and Melbourne isn’t far behind. The situation is different to Saturday where a lot of the cargo was underbond cleared but not removed. It now appears that there is much cargo for which an underbond removal request has not been processed (ICS or Contingency).

What we are trying to ascertain is whether the  Forwarder’s bonds are now becoming full due to the slowness of the ICS Customs Declaration releases and also underbond removal to other forwarders in a coload situation.

So where you operate a 77g store, would you please indicate , very briefly ,  your capacity status and any other comment.

Your immediate attention to this would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards ,
