This announcement informs our Australian Deliverance, ediEnterprise and
Scope clients as to the availability of our CMR functionality.
Customers using ediEnterprise
ediEnterprise contains
all the changes for CMR. These changes will be visible in ediEnterprise from
the 3rd of October 2005 (Versions post 3rd October 2005). Most functionality
has been maintained between the legacy system and the CMR system with
functional variation and data as required by the CMR design.
ediEnterprise software
upgrades will be released to customers as required and available for user
installation in the normal ediEnterprise manner.

Customers using
Deliverance
Deliverance contains
changes for the CMR Declaration and links to allow Cargo Reporting for both Sea
and Air. These changes will be visible in Deliverance from the 3rd of October
2005. Deliverance customers will need an upgrade of Deliverance which will be
sent over the weekend for application on the 3rd to allow both legacy and CMR
Customs Entries and links to the Cargo Reporting for both Sea and Air. Most
Customs Declaration functionality has been maintained between the legacy system
and the CMR systems with functional variation and data as required by the CMR
design.
Customers using Scope
Scope clients have
generally been upgraded and should have access to the CMR capabilities as
required. There are a few clients that will still require upgrades due to
remote access not being readily available.
All Customers
In general, there are
still late developing issues, fixes from Customs and a number of training and
management issues that will require us all to work collaboratively together
– however, despite the shortness of time and the complex transition
issues, we are confident on our software being ready for your business needs
from the 3rd of October 2005.
We will also be
providing more detailed electronic training documentation and a number of
electronic communications (via email) to assist clients with the transition
– and we remain on alert for any late breaking issues, changes or CMR
problems. We are committed to reacting with speed and focus to address any
issues.
Kind regards
Richard White,

presentation with voice over commentary to provide industry members with clear
instructions as to the process for handling their DCs. This presentation, which
is aimed at Authorised Officers as well as the actual users of the digital
certificates, provides vital information on the following key areas:
· Purchasing your
DC
· The
authorisation of DC users
· The downloading
of signing and encryption certificates
· The creation
and export of the .cer file for registration purposes
· The
registration of the user in the Customs Connect Facility (CCF)

Customs Interactive (CI)
The presentation will
run using an advanced virtual classroom technology so members may need to
